Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a cloud architect or similar role in cloud development
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms, especially in AWS. Expertise in Azure and Google Cloud is considered a plus.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security and storage.
- Expertise in edge computing and IoT security frameworks.
- Understanding of IoT device management, data processing and real-time analytics in the cloud.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Familiar with cloud-native technologies i.e. serverless, microservices
- Hands-on experience with cloud development, security, compliance and governance.
- Hands-on expertise with IoT platforms and protocols such as MQTT
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud systems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Education and certifications
- Degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solution Architect, DevOps and Development are highly desirable.
- IoT-related certifications such as AWS IoT core certification are a plus.
What you’ll be doing as the Cloud architect
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that integrate with IoT services and platforms to support connected systems based on user-, business – and technical requirements.
- Develop and execute cloud strategies.
- Ensure the high availability and resilience of cloud services.
- Feature development, including programming, together with the team.
- Establish and enforce the best practices for cloud development, security, compliance and cost management.
- Optimize performance, scalability and operation efficiency of cloud solutions
- Provide technical leadership and support to internal teams.
